Consistent! What Does it Mean
Consistent is doing something over and over again! It’s that simple, but do we apply that? What makes you consistent? Is it something you like to do? Something that is easy? Or something that you need to do to get the job done. If you said yes to all of them, then you are correct. But if you want to have success in what you are doing then consistency is the key no matter if it is easy or takes a little more effort.
Having a Blogging Business from which you want as your primary money-maker then here are some keys and pointers to keep in mind.
Blogging 5 – 6 times a week is awesome
Blogging 3 times a week is good
Blogging 1 time a week is ok, (but it’s more like a hobby then)
And then NOT blogging at all, (you really need to think about why you are doing this)
- My Blogging is the forefront to my money-making, I am always finding ways to help me become more consistent. I love to find challenges and hook up with others who like to do what I do. Sarah and her challenge is one of them. https://www.facebook.com/groups/30DayBloggingChallenge/ .
- Then you have others like Linda who puts up a Friday prompt for motivation. http://lindaghill.com/2014/11/14/the-friday-reminder-and-prompt-for-socs-november-1514/
Follow the leader
Following a good leader and finding as much training and encouragement is another way to be consistent. I have an assortment of seminars that are available that give ideas and topics, which will help if you are lost or struggling to be consistent then they can get you back on track. When you have those things available and ready for you to grab, you have not one to blame but yourself for not keeping it going.
Consistency and habits form in 21 days. Doing something every day for that many days will instill it in your brain. It will become easier and you will find yourself doing it without thinking. Work through the struggle and make it a habit, so your business will grow and grow and grow. When you see this growth you can adjust and compound your consistency.
I believe that when you stick to something that is long-term and truly commit to it on a daily basis you will succeed in what you set out to do. Get your freedom to help others to do the same.
