How did you or do you want to raise your children?

As the mother that I am, I struggled when my kids were young. Do I work full-time or part-time? Working at all was not the option for me at that time. I had to choose. I will tell you it was hard. I wanted to have all the time with them and give them every opportunity they could have.

She tells how she can work and be a mother. She is blessed not to have to have a nanny. But she has a full time grandmother who is there.

I did it on my own and learned how to sacrifice and still get it all done. I wish I knew then what I know now!

Don’t be that liar! Look below and join the hard working mothers who can have it all.

As the mother that I am, I struggled when my kids were young. Do I work full-time or part-time? Working at all was not the option for me at that time. I had to choose. I will tell you it was hard. I wanted to have all the time with them and give them every opportunity they could have. I put them in every sport they wanted to be in and got them to all the practices and games. Yes we followed them all the way from 6 years old through College. My Daughter was a great Softball Pitcher!

We scheduled our vacation time from work around tournaments. That was our social time. I truly enjoyed it, but it seemed to go way to fast. It was exhausting trying to keep a job and help them in whatever they needed.

From all the school work, to the band recitals to the sport fields, we were always available. When they were sick, they were in the corner of my office on a pillow waiting till I could get them to a doctor’s appointment, because they couldn’t go to school and I had to work.

Now that I look back, I was pretty fortunate that they turned out so well. Not being able to fill all the needs like girls scouts, and Cub scouts, or some of the other things that kids get involved in; that is where I needed to say no. I just couldn’t.

It seems like the opportunities that are available to young mothers today in having a business at home can really bring out the super moms again. This business that I found can give you the same income as a full time job with less time needed. If I found this twenty years ago, where would I be now? Empty nest and not having the rush, I needed to find myself again.

Lessons learned:

Learn from the best, give your family what they deserve, and enjoy every minute of life you have together, but don’t sacrifice who you are.
