B is for bridging

Bridging and BindingBridges can be used for many purposes. They are built over water, over mountainous ranges and others are over streets in a city.   They have a certain purpose. That purpose is to make it easier for people to get to their destination. To bring them into a whole new place.

How do you let others see you? Binding yourself together.

In business bridge videos are becoming more popular. They are something that we use between attracting people to us and getting them to the buying situation.

Recently I have been engaging in make a few videos or presentations that will help let others know who I am and show them what has helped me in my home Digital Franchise and then, to bring them into my world.

In the sales market we use them to soften the sell, to introduce who they are working with, or to give more explanation of what is coming.

Bridging the Gap

Now, to learn more about how to gain power when you are dealing with people.

Law # 19 Know who you’re dealing with. Do not offend the wrong person.

There are many different kinds of people in the world, and you can never assume that everyone will react to your strategies in the same way. Deceive or outmaneuver some people and they will spend the rest of their lives seeking revenge. They ae wolves in lambs’ clothing. Choose your victims and opponents carefully, then ever offend or deceive the wrong person.

The ability to measure people and to know who you are dealing with is the most important skills of all in gathering and conserving your power. Without it, you are blind. Not only will you offend the wrong person, you will choose the wrong types to work with, and will think you are flattering them when you are actually insulting.

Get to know people, find out who they are, what they like, learn their weaknesses, the chinks in their armor, the areas of both pride and insecurity. Know their ins and outs before you even decide whether or not to show them your business and ask them to join you.

Other cautions to make. Never rely on your instincts, study your opponents.

Never rely on or trust appearances, people can cloak their true heart, or they seem blustery on the outside and are really cautious or a coward and shy. Learn to see the person on the inside for who they really are.

The hunter does not lay the same trap for a wolf as for a fox. He does not set bait where no one will take it. He knows his prey thoroughly, its habits and hideaways, and hunts accordingly.

“Be convinced that there are no persons so insignificant and inconsiderable, but may, sometime or other, have it in their power to be of use to you; which they certainly will not, if you have once shown them contempt. Wrongs are often forgiven, but contempt never is. Our pride remembers it forever. (Lord Chesterfield 1694-1773)

Using a bridging video to show a little about yourself is a great way for others to get to know you without you having to be everywhere at the same time.

Have fun making your own presentation.    By the way here is mine. and I am still getting it right.

Sandy
