Digital Franchise

In this day and age, everything seems to have some sort of digital atmosphere.

You have digital alarm clocks, digital coffee makers, digital watches, digital phones and even your car is now all run by a computer.   Where would we be if they shut the power off?

I know,I wouldn’t want to think about that either.   Yet a good book is always handy. What are you reading lately? (I’m reading “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek)

But, since we are in this digital age why not settle in and take it with full attention!

Starting your own business in a Digital Franchise can be exciting.    Network Marketing

What is a Digital Franchise?

Franchising is the practice of the right to use a firm’s successful business modeland brand for a prescribed period of time. For the franchiser, the franchise is an alternative to building “chain stores” to distribute goods that avoids the investments and liability of a chain. The franchisee is said to have a greater incentive than a direct employee because he or she has a direct stake in the business.

Essentially, and in terms of distribution, the franchiser is a supplier who allows an operator, or a franchisee, to use the supplier’s trademark and distribute the supplier’s goods.

Did you know that a chain like Dutch Bros or McDonald’s are all owned by individuals and pay fee to use the name?   It is a great way to have your own business yet not have to go through all the paper work or legal documents needed, or better yet the large amounts of capital.

Having a Digital Franchise is sort of the same thing, only there is no physical building to conduct your business from.   You can do it anywhere you have a computer, phone or tablet. Wow, the possibilities are endless.

Its your business, you are the boss, you make the rules of how you conduct it, yet you have a company backing you up, and supplying the goods. They are in charge of the legal stuff. (See what I mean here)

Here is a sneak peek and description of one I found:

Here is one thing that might show you that even the Politian’s are going digital, see what article I found.

More and more politicians are using social networks to engage with voters. What is the impact of the digital campaign?

  • BARACK OBAMA’S success in the 2008 US presidential race – dubbed the Face book election – is credited with persuading politicians around the globe that they couldn’t ignore the digital world. His re-election in 2012 was a powerful reminder. That campaign built a huge digital presence: 45 million Face book likes, 23 million Twitter followers and 1 million downloads of its Face book app. Crucially, Obama converted this into offline gains: 358,000 events were organised online, and $690 million raised – over half of his total.
  • Similarly, in the 2014 Indian election, Narendra Modi became prime minister after enlisting 2.2 million volunteers via online tools, and engaging with hundreds of thousands to crowd source his BJP party’s manifesto.
  • How decisive social media was in those outcomes is an open question. In 2009, the Pirate Party in Germany dominated social media, but not the election result. During the Scottish independence referendum, the Yes campaign was ahead on social media throughout – and lost. Campaigners know online support matters, but the key is to convert it into volunteers, money and votes.

And here is article I found, where you can have a digital assistant.

Why Is My Digital Assistant So Creepy?

  • Siri, Cortana and Alexa are robotic personal assistants, but they are also women. They live in your pockets, their skinny smart phone bodies executing your every command. They are intimate with you. But they are also, as Microsoft VP Joe Belfiore said at the Windows 10 keynote last week, “a member of your family.”
  • It’s hard to say where the craze for a humanized digital assistant came from. Maybe it started with the very first movie about robots, Metropolis, about a sexy android who leads a workers uprising. Or maybe it came from I Dream of Jeannie, where our plucky magical girl carries out her master’s orders with about as much enthusiasm and accuracy as Siri. There are dozens of other examples. Regardless of when the idea was born, today it just seems natural to expect your tech’s voice to have a personality, a name, and even some kind of fictional back story.

OK,   now that I blew your mind on the last article,

Think about it, Wow a business that you can call yours. You can work from home! You can set your hours.   Take vacation when you want, or not have to leave the house if it’s snowing or raining or anything else that is considered miserable. And the best part is you get to talk about what you like, about who you are and learn how to share your needs.

With the regulations this day and age, they seem to be cracking down on the door to door salesman and the selling industry is changing more and more to have everything available online.

5 Digital Marketing Trends for 2015

Digital Marketing Trends to Capitalize on in 2015 are:
1. Participation Marketing
2. Smart Content
3. Focus on Customer Experience
4. Human Conversations
5. Mobile Readiness

How many parties do you get invited to? It seems like people are selling things all around you, why not be part of the movement.  Yet do it all through your computer and not pick on your family and friends anymore.

My lesson for you today:

Law #2   Never Put Too Much Trust in friends, Learn How to Use Enemies (48 Laws of Power)

“Be wary of friends, they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical.   But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.”

It is natural to want to employ your friends when you find yourself in time of need. Isn’t that were we start when we want to make money. Think of the fundraisers in school. The world is a harsh place, and your friends soften the harshness. Besides you know them.

The problem is that you often do not know your friends as well as you imagine. Friends often agree on things in order to avoid and argument. The cover up their unpleasant qualities so as to not offend each other. They laugh at your jokes even if they are not funny.

Having them in a business atmosphere is completely different. You gradually discover the qualities he or she has kept hidden. Things are taken for granted and when work is not done or friendship gets in the way of change, then all disaster strikes.

Time to start   Its your business, you created it to work for you. Friendships are needed and when you work online presenting a Digital Franchise you really need to sell yourself before anything else.  Quit Struggling.

Come and see a part of my world.

Sandy
