Where are you spending your time?

We all have 24 hours in a day. I know we think we need more, but that is all we get. We need to know where to go find things that help us do the things that we need to do in our businesses, that can free up our time.

Someone asked me the other day how I manage to keep it all together with all the things that were going on in my life. I just looked at them and said one day at a time, and a great schedule.

I don’t know about you, but if I did not have some great tools and a schedule I probably would loose my mind. Here is a sample and see how you can relate.

I am working a full time job outside of the house, this alone can keep you very busy. I do own a house that needs cleaned, and laundry done and yes the yard.

Then, I have another full-time job that I do from my home. This is the fun one. I blog as a Network Affiliate. I enjoy writing, it has become very therapeutic for me. Also you get to see what the rest of the world is doing by searching for ideas.

Besides both of those, life is still there. I have two wonderful kids. All grown up, but mom is still needed. I would do anything for them if they asked. That is what moms do, right?

I have animals to take care of, a dog, and two turtles. Animals are great stress relievers, they just want to play or sit near you and be your best friend.family

Another stressful part of my life are my elderly parents. Quite stubborn if you ask me. An Aunt that needs my attention and since my siblings moved across the country, it seems to be my responsibility to keep the order. How did I get elected?

Last of all, and most important is my loving husband. Giving him the time he deserves and building our relationship now that we are empty nesters.

So, If I can keep it all together and get it all done and still have time to sleep, here are some visual tools I found for you, that save hours of time posting.

  1. Klout

This tool is a place that lets you set your posts, share other posts and schedule future postings. Then gives you measurements and on how you are doing.

It works mainly with twitter. But it sorts for things that you would be interested in.

I don’t know about you, but have you looked at the twitter site, that is just plain overwhelming finding things to share.

  2. Buffer

Buffer is a great tool, and if you are not using it you are probably lost. This can take most of your social media tools and post to them all at the same time.

You can add, schedule, share all in one place. It also works like Klout, by pulling up suggestion from other posts for you to share which is great for your networking.

    Give it a try.

  3. Hootsuite

This tool give lets you put in all your social media links. Then it actually brings up the feeds from those links. Its like you are one each site, but really only on one.

This one is great to be able to post to multiple sites, but to share and schedule it is not as user friendly as the other ones.

It is worth a try, because we are all different and we like to do different things.

I would love to know what you think of all my suggestions. Please leave me a comment and come back to see what others thought of these also.

Then if you want to know how I do what I do, you will have to get into my world and I will gladly share. See the banner on the side or CLICK HERE.

  1. Sandy, I’m going to set up Co-Schedule when I get around to it! I signed up but wasn’t on all the platforms, so I’m waiting till I’m fully organised.

It covers a lot and looks super easy to use. It costs monthly. Sarah Arrow (sarkemedia.com) recommended it as one of her choices and it was the best of the bunch for me. And at the time (last Nov) the most up to date.
