Keys To Success In Life | Personal Development

What is it that we all try to look for? Is it the keys to a better future? A key to a successful life and to live on our own?

When you are little what is it that we all think about?  What am I going to do when I grow up!

I thought that was what we all needed to do, grow up dreaming.  We didn’t have success on our mind.  We didn’t think about the failures, the challenges or other things that come about. We just looked ahead at what we wanted.

Now that I am a little older, I have been learning that success is something you attract, not something you pursue.

That is right, I said success is something you attract.  The keys to a better future can be handed to you.  Just like you knew when you were a child.

Do you want to know how?

Personal development!    Yep, that’s right, personal development, working harder on yourself than your business. We tend to forget who we are and what it is that truly wanted.

A question for you?   “What are you becoming”.

True happiness is not contained in what you get, true happiness is in what you become.

Keys to Success in Life

So if the keys to a better future are to be handed to you, but happiness is not contained in what you get.  Then how do you get the keys to a better future? Something to ponder on…….

Keys To Success In Life | Personal Development

Personal development.

1.   Start with the basic laws.    Know who you are as a person.

God first

family second

Career third

2.  Set goals.   Set them big to match your bank account.   They are tied together you know.   When you know where you are going, the confidence will be reflected in your bank account.

This is so true.  When you know where your are going and you create things, you get paid for that, and your bank account grows. One key to a better future is to learn to be creative.

3. The major key that you are looking for is YOU.  You already have it.  It has been handed to you.  You have had it all along.

Now that you know that, how do you start to make a difference?

How do you develop an above average income ……….. You become an above average person.

What I want to encourage you to do today is to take the action you need to develop who you are and where you want to go.  By doing that see the changes that others will present to you.

If you smile, will they smile back?

A firm handshake, will it leave a lasting impression?

When you show interest in someone, will they come back and give you the same?

When you show drive and take action, is it noticed and will you get a “good job” or a pat on the back?

Give it a try and see how you can acquire the Keys To Success In Life and Personal Development skills to pass on to others.

  1. I’m a goal digger lately! I’ve been for forging ahead, and I’ve got to say I’m quite proud of myself. I can sometimes let doubt win, but lately I’ve been stifling those negative voices. I love how you motivate here. 🙂

  2. Love the big idea you mentioned about success is something you attract. I really stuck on that, and am going to think about that much ore when in my day to day routines. Really powerful.

  3. This is so motivating. I love the concept of attracting success. I work so hard but sometimes need to up my mental game because I’m prone to self doubt. And yes to working as hard on yourself as your work!!!

  4. Thank you Sandy, such a powerful message and helpful advice. We are practicing Self development right now and can clearly see the difference in what we’ve become as opposed to how we used to be, and it truly stands out once you become engaged with the principals and practice the methods that work on a daily basis. A truly fantastic read.

  5. I love this! I’ve always thought that success was something I pursued but now I’m learning differently. I also loved it when you said that we need to become an above average person in order to get that above average income. Guess I need to start striving for more.

  6. Personal development is crucial because that is the foundation to develop any other things in lives, work, relation, business, etc. I love the quotes you share here, mostly the one from you ” success is something you attract, not something you pursue.”

    1. Thanks, that quote is so true. When we pursue something we tend to push to hard. Just let go and let it come to you.

  7. Love this message Sandy!

It took me a long time before I really got how important personal development was to my success, as well as learning and growing from my mistakes and failures.

I really love this, “The major key that you are looking for is YOU.” Everyone always asks people what the secret is…when in fact, they’ve already had it inside of them all this time:)

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. I love the idea of continually learning – it is something that I try to model for my kids so they know that in order to become your best self, you have to keep moving forward.

  9. I love this. I think so many people haven’t even started with their own basic laws, that they don’t really know where to go from there!

    1. Right, We forget, we go on with the rat race of life and loose who we are. I have a vision to help others keep that and know they have a strong voice to share with others. Let them know they have goals and dreams to shoot for. come with me and lets show others where we need to go.

  10. I have witnessed what you described first hand. I know what you say is true and I have shared this wisdom with others. The funny part is, it seems harder to put into practice for yourself. I work on it daily. I just take things too personally and start to lose the attitude and outlook I want to maintain. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

    1. It is hard to keep the momentum going, yes that is why a team is so important. Others around you that keep your spirits up and you moving in the right direction. Do you have others with you and working toward a similar goal?

  11. Your question of “what are you becoming” really hit home. Good question that I need to think about more!

    1. It seems sometimes that when we write it down we put it out of our brain. Keeping thing around in front of you will keep us all focused. What are you Becoming? Where do you see yourself going?

  12. I definetly agree that working on personal skills and yourself will improve your being and make you a lot happier. You have some great thoughts here!

    1. Thank you Megan. I have been doing a lot of that lately. We can never stop improving and sharing with others.

  13. Even though I am not young anymore, I am still changing and pursuing a better me. I am hoping I am heading in the right direction.

  14. I wholeheartedly agree with the fact that working on yourself is the best way to get ahead. Just being a better version of yourself will get you much farther in life than trying to change others.

  15. I definitely agree that the best thing you can do is to improve yourself rather than trying to change others. If I’m not happy with the person I’m showing people, I doubt they will be either.

  16. Great words to live by! I like the part where you mention work harder on yourself than your job. We often get so involved in what society leads us to think is important rather than what really matters.

  17. Working on yourself first is important for success and personal growth. If you’re happy with you, then you can share that happiness across everything you do.
